Care Network COVID-19 support

We are here to provide you with information, guidance and practical support to help you stay at home and connect with your local community. Initially our main focus was supporting older people, but today we provide that support to anyone over the age of 18 years.

Coronavirus update 2/4/2020

We have launched our new seven day service to help people stay connected during the Covid-19 outbreak.

We can help if you are self isolating because you are vulnerable – either as someone with an underlying health condition, or because you are over 70.

Calls will be answered 7 days a week

9-5pm Monday to Friday and 10am-4pm Saturday and Sunday.

Chat support available between 8am-8pm

Delivering essential supplies and prescriptions

If you are on your own with no one to help you and need an emergency food shop or a prescription to be collected please call 01223 714433.

Wellbeing support

At this time of isolation it is more important than ever to feel connected to other people. We can arrange a regular check in and chat call from one of our volunteers.

If you are struggling with anxiety or low mood as a result of self-isolation our wellbeing staff can provide additional support. We can provide support to help you better cope with challenging feelings and look after your wellbeing at this difficult time.
