Archery Programme
We offer target archery to suit a range of abilities and needs. Our qualified archery leaders adapt the equipment and delivery style to enable participants to reach their potential.
Target archery has been a Paralympic sport for more than 30 years. This includes doubles, singles and team events using the same competition and scoring protocol as utilised in the Olympic games.
Through support from Living Sport and the Sportivate project, we have been able to start offering archery tasters to people with a disability. We have some dedicated archery leaders on hand to help the participants to find a way of shooting that works for them.
Our archery equipment is created by Remap and Demand, two charities that specialise in developing speicific equipment to suite a particular need. You can also get more information about archery from the link below;
British Wheelchair Archery Association
We are also developing a great partnership with Old Oundle Bowman Archery Club (OOBAC) to create a pathway for disabled people to move into a club environment and competitions, if that’s what individuals would like to do.
