Castor School is a small church village school close to the city of Peterborough. The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils.
At Castor School we aim to help children become balanced, socially aware and caring people, with respect for others and a real sense of responsibility within themselves Within a healthy and safe environment, we seek to provide children with a structure in which they can develop essential life skills.
The school has a strong commitment to high achievement, recognising that children have individual needs and will be successful in different ways.
Our curriculum is planned to be stimulating and creative. Teaching and learning are supported by a rich, varied and up to date range of teaching resources.
