Westminster Gardens Community (Eye) Group COVID-19 support

This community group has approx. 50 members on Whatsapp and on their Facebook page has approx. 70 members and counting. This outreach will be encouraging all neighbours to help each other, offering practical support and using their time and talents where needed. We are a group of neighbours coming together to support each other during this unique time. We are practising social distancing, supporting families in self- isolation, and are supporting each other in practical ways.

- assistance with grocery shopping/picking up medication

- collectively supporting the foodbank

- organizing thank you effort for key workers

- volunteers to phone isolated / lonely neighbours for a chat (but no one who says they need this help yet)

- sending birthday cards to neighbours
