The Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) North Team provides assessment and treatment for children and young people up to the age of 17 living in Peterborough who are experiencing emotional problems, anxiety difficulties, major eating problems, psychosis, or mental health problems with associated behavioural difficulties and support for their families and professionals working with them.
The Neuro Developmental Pathway in Peterborough is part of the CAMHS service.

We accept referrals for children and young people up to 17 years old who are experiencing:
- Feeling low or more than usually worried
- Feeling more than normally anxious
- Obsessive habits that can't be stopped, such as obsessive compulsive disorder
- Thinking about deliberate self harm
- Major eating problems, such as anorexia nervosa
- Having lots of worrying thoughts about themselves or others
- Psychosis
- Mental health problems with associated behavioural difficulties, such as worrying levels of conflict or fights
And where primary care or other health and support services have been unable to resolve these issues.

Peterborough Community CAMHS is provided by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust Children’s Business Unit and is part of the core CAMHS pathway. We have a wide range of clinicians and other professionals so that we are able to respond to specific needs including:
