The Rudolf Fund

Founded in January 1997, the objective of The Rudolf Fund shall be to 'Make Christmas Special for Special Children' by providing festive outings either domestic or foreign, parties, presents and donations of a non-financial nature to those children currently residing within a 20 mile radius of Eye, Peterborough, at the discretion of the Committee.

This includes the counties of Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Northamptonshire and Rutland. These are only to be provided during a three month period leading up to Christmas of each year.

 Criteria for selection: Special Children are those children who have medically recognised, physical or psychological, disabilities or illnesses. Children who may have an acute terminal illness. Children who have spent most of their young lives in or out of hospital for various reasons or have undergone major medical surgery.

Children who have suffered a traumatic experience in their lives. Young carers whose quality time is taken up caring for a parent or child with special needs or disabilities.

Also consideration will be given to any Child whose quality of life is such that the Committee feel we can help to bring a ray of sunshine or happiness into their lives be whatever means the Committee deem necessary
