About us
We provide an information and advice service for older people, their families and carers, focusing on social care, welfare benefits and befriending services. This is integrated with local support, including one-to-one and group befriending schemes.
Who we help
Many of our services are available free and without restriction. Anyone can call our advice line (charged at a local call rate), download our information guides, order a copy of our Wise Guides or search our information and advice online.
We support people who are over the state retirement age but if you are younger and think you would still benefit from our services, do contact us.
We provide support regardless of an older person's background, ethnicity, faith, sexuality or gender.
