Option One Care

Option One provides a specialist personal service to young people and adults with learning disabilities living in their own homes. Care packages are purchased either by service users or local authorities and the support we offer enables them to live in their own homes and develop their independent living skills across all areas of everyday life. Support packages include support in the home, budgeting and managing money, cooking and maintaining a home, support with travel to and from education/work, assistance with travel and meetings/medical appointments etc. Option One works with service users to create care plans that they are happy with. Their involvement and opinions are crucial to their success of living independently and we wish for them to feel in control of the services they are paying for.
