The Dietetics offer nutrition and dietetic advice to people of any age, following referral by a health acre professional or other professional. An increasing number of group weducation sessions are being offered to clients as s more effective way to give advice. Interventions occur in the following form.
- The service is responsible fpr co-ordinating the Healthy Weight Peterborough strategy.
- Training for health and social care professionals to promote healthy eating and prevent obesity
- The prevention of malnutrition in hospitals, care homes and community settings.
