Thorpe Primary School was officially opened in September 1993, following the amalgamation of the former Infant and Junior Schools. It is a primary school with an OFSTED registered Nursery on site, catering for pupils aged 3 to 11 years .
A large proportion of the pupils transfer to the local secondary school, which is within walking distance of Thorpe Primary School. Our school has a close working relationship with our secondary community school and staff devise many opportunities for pupils to work together to facilitate closer liaison.
Our school aims are very important to us and underpin all our work, these are:
