Windows for Children

Windows for Children is an exceptional therapeutic children's home. It works with emotionally damaged and troubled children. Most children that come to Windows will have been subjected to many placement disruptions and breakdowns. They have all the long-range effects of lack of attachment, along with severe sensory delays and have developed many unhealthy coping strategies. Windows is a restorative place in which a child is helped to achieve, to develop a positive sense of self, grow in confidence and experience good parenting. We provide a fun, nurturing environment that enables children, through play, to prepare for a permanent family placement and live fulfilling, happy lives.

Description: We work with severely disturbed children from all over the UK. Admissions are for children up to 10 years of age. This means that when they have completed our therapeutic programme, they are still young enough to come to terms with growing up in a new family home.
